Every French business must be able to receive electronic invoices from 1 September 2026. The obligation to issue them reaches SMEs in 2027.
The French e-invoicing reform is often reduced to a single date, which creates a lot of confusion. There are in fact two distinct obligations, with two different timelines, and they do not affect companies in the same way. Here is what applies to you, and in which order.
The 1 September 2026 deadline concerns every business, including those that will only issue in 2027. Helion Cloud supports SMEs and mid-caps on the management software side, notably with Dynamics 365 Business Central, and on connecting to a platform.
