Enterprise device management is evolving toward more automation and intelligence. Microsoft Intune now integrates AI. But the first question remains simple: what if a work phone is lost or stolen? From the Intune console, the administrator can remotely run the Wipe action, which restores the device to factory settings and erases all its data, or the Retire action, which removes only company apps, profiles and data and suits personally owned phones. The command applies as soon as the device reconnects to Intune.

Zero-touch deployment with Autopilot

Windows Autopilot allows deploying new PCs without IT intervention. The user logs in and Intune automatically configures applications and policies.

Security Copilot in Intune

AI assists administrators in the Intune console: summarize an existing policy, explain a setting, spot conflicting compliance policies, compare two devices. The Policy Configuration Agent turns requirements written in plain language into proposed settings, which the administrator reviews before any deployment. These features require Microsoft Security Copilot.

Adaptive security

Intune integrates with Defender for Endpoint. When Defender classifies a device as at risk, Intune can automatically mark it noncompliant, and Conditional Access then blocks its access to corporate resources. Policies thus adapt to the risk level.

Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux - Intune manages all device types from a single console with uniform compliance policies.
